Rams Select Lambpage to Succeed Rampage

The Rams have selected Lambpage, a 19-month-old mascot out of the Little Rock Lambs of the IFL, as Rampage's long-term successor. Rampage is performing at an extremely high level and appreciates the confidence.

INGLEWOOD, CA — The Los Angeles Rams announced Friday that they have selected Lambpage, a first-year mascot out of the Little Rock Lambs of the Indoor Football League, as Rampage’s long-term successor. The selection was described by team officials as “a strategic investment in the future” and “a baton hand-off situation,” in that order.

Rampage was not consulted in advance. He has been the Rams’ mascot for sixteen years. The organization’s starting quarterback won league MVP this past season.

“We love Rampage,” said a team spokesperson. “Rampage is performing at an extremely high level. This is about the long term. Rampage will be the one to decide when Lambpage is ready.”

Rampage said he appreciated the confidence. He said this in the tone of someone who appreciated the confidence.

Lambpage is 19 months old. He is described by Little Rock Lambs staff as “enthusiastic” and “still figuring out what the job is, but very open to feedback.” He will not be asked to perform mascot duties immediately.

The Rams organization declined to characterize the move as anything other than a sign of organizational health.

“We’re building something,” the spokesperson said.

Rampage nodded.

Correction: A previous version of this article stated that Rampage had been the Rams’ mascot for over two decades. Rampage was introduced in 2010, when the team was still the St. Louis Rams, making his tenure sixteen years as of 2026.
